 SCHOOL PROPERTY

Students must respect school property. Students will be charged for lost or damaged property or vandalism. Loaned materials must be returned or replaced at student/parent expense. Responsibility is a key component and should be learned in elementary school.

DESKS/LOCKERS
DESKS AND LOCKERS ARE SCHOOL PROPERTY AND ARE SUBJECT TO SEARCH AT ANYTIME. The Administration reserves the right to request assistance from the police and/or the Canine Unit to assist them in conducting searches throughout the school due to reasonable suspicion.

PERSONAL PROPERTY
Students are not allowed to bring radios, tape recorders, CD players, lasers, pagers, phones, communication devices, electronic games, hackey sacks or other items of value to school.
These items are too easily broken or lost. Any such item will be taken from the student and may be returned at the end of the day or a parent/guardian may be requested to pick up the item. Excessive amounts of money should not be brought to school. Students should properly label all items for easy identification. Students should take care of personal belongings. Students should not give their locker combinations to other students.

Clothing items, which are lost, will be placed in the "Lost and Found" area. Rings, glasses, watches, etc. which have been found may be reclaimed by identifying them at the Front Office.

 STRANGER DANGER

Periodically the school reminds students to be conscious of potential negative adult involvement (for example: offering of rides by unknown persons). When the school is notified, the police and bus drivers will be informed to help monitor potential problems.
