PTO BOOK FAIR
To encourage reading, PTO holds two Book Fairs each year; the first is in the Fall and the second in the Spring. The Scholastic Book Fair will be at Harrison from September. Everyone in the family will find wonderful books and other exciting products at the Book Fair. Students will be given time during the school day to preview and purchase Book Fair items. Parents are also encouraged to visit the Fair during school hours. Reading for fun can transform a child’s life. The Book Fair creates an enjoyable opportunity for your whole family to get excited about books. If you are interested in helping or have any questions please call Angela (815) 728-0353.

PTO SCHOOL STORE
The School Store will be open every Tuesday during the lunch hours 11-1. We carry many fun things for the children to purchase along with school supplies at very competitive prices. Volunteers will be contacted soon so that our store can operate efficiently. THANK YOU to those 85+ families who ordered school supplies, and to those families who made purchases at our school store during 2007 registration. PTO FALL FESTIVAL/HAUNTED HALLWAYS
Once again we will be having a Fall Festival, October 13th. We will have games and prizes, pumpkin decorating, cake walk, Haunted Hallways, and much more for all the witches and ghouls. PTO TALENT SHOW
We are very pleased to announce that the Talent Show is back in business. We have several adult volunteers to run this very successful event. We are always looking to the parents and teachers for any assistance that they can offer. Please keep checking your child's back-pack for more information. We are still working on the dates for Practices and the BIG SHOW.
