The Harrison Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) would like to extend a warm welcome to parents, teachers and staff for the 2008-2009 school year.
The PTO supports and sponsors many events for students and families that happen each year for grades Pre-K to 8th. Your child has probably benefited from at least two or more of these PTO sponsored events. Thanks so much for being a part of our Harrison Pride and growth.
Below is a list of some of the PTO sponsored events that happen in our school:
- Fall Festival/Haunted Hallways
- Santa's Elves Workshop
- Easter Egg Hunt
- Providing snacks during ISAT testing
- Donating to Wonder Lake Baseball Association, Girls Softball, Water Ski Team, and Fireworks Fund
- Providing 25 meals at Christmas for our local food pantry via Christ The King and Nativity Lutheran Church’s
- Paying for all school PTO sponsored Assemblies
- Preparing back-to-school breakfast’s, teacher’s gift’s, the school calendar and lunch’s for faculty and staff
- Hosting two annual Book Fairs
- Donating thousands of dollars for books (see the new items in our library)
- Assisting with the Art Fair, Drama Club Productions and Music Department
- Purchasing digital cameras and photo printing paper to use at school events and dances
- Funding the Space Challenger Tuition Fee for our 5th graders
- Playground installed, maintained each year
- Providing dances for our students and or parents
General Meetings are the 3rd Wednesday of every month @ 7p.m. in TLC
